Hi,

I was wondering...
Since the new update with the ritualists, they use al lot of spirits. My energy sucks after a while and why not this :

There's vampirism wich steals HP and gives U the HP...
Why not something similar but then for energy

( PvE-Only )

Any comments ?

We've got Spirit Siphon to grab all the energy from our spirits. I don't think we really need something like this. Besides, the energy return would probably be 0..1..2 per hit which would mean the title it was linked to would need to be really high to get any decent benefit.

Do not use spirits they suck even with the update, but if you want, spirit siphon is decent energy management.
Use OoS or AP as your elite.
Why are you low energy anyway?

They don't suck, their just not discord way omg kill everything.

People tend to forget the difference between skills that suck and skills that just arent god mode.

If you are using Channeling, essence strike is good Energy management, as is spirit siphon. Try to avoid using elites as your energy management, but AP is good since it recharges your spirits.

As cool as an energy draining spirit may seem, I just dont see it being viable for PvE. For spirits you generally want either some sort of defensive purpose or offensive purpose, and energy draining doesn't really do either.

Wrong. It could actually prove semi-effective against casters, such as monks, that have low-er energy base. Not so much eles, but nontheless, effective.

If it did some damage, not even a lot but just a little, then maybe.

But asides from farming, when have you EVER drained PvE monks energy bar?

Using deb shot and such could also harm it, but I haven't. I said it'd be effect, because it's a constant energy loss, giving the monks a hard time to heal/prot the party, because NPC monks already have little-none energy management. Wich could give a diversion/pressure.

There are already a LOT of options to manage your energy, we really don't need another one, especially if it would be a new skill. Ritualist itself already has ways to manage energy, but you can also run /Me or /E for more options.

I think it's pretty annoying that most ritualist energy skills are in the offensive line.

Since most Rit builds are hybrids I don't see this as a problem.

Spirit Siphon is broken and does not work as it should. it sometimes fails to get you energy at all. check wiki

They aren't going to make you a skill just because you're having energy problems. There are other professions that have energy management skill.

Secondary profession anyone?
